Hello and Happy Holidays to my blog
subscribers - I will fondly call you "the remnant"; those
special hanger-oners to Energy Concepts and New-trition by Carla. Or
maybe those who haven't figured out how to unsubscribe! Either way, I
hope this blog finds you in a wonderful place in your life as you celebrate
your family traditions of Christmas & New Year's.
I'm wondering how many of you are, like
myself, looking at your 2015 list of goals or resolutions that were created one
year ago? The ones you actually sat down and wrote out in your planner or
journal as you anticipated the New Year.
It is good to have some sort of measuring
stick to assess your personal trek. I hope you are pleased with your
progress; your dreams and aspirations are happening right before your eyes,
albeit in hindsight!
But then, have any of you experienced the ‘other’
list? Your own anticipated goals stare
at you untouched. Yet, the
accomplishments of the year appear like invisible ink and could fill the entire
page. That is the list of goals you were
not aware of a year ago, written for you by that obscure author called
Life.
For those of you who are reflecting on
2015 and all you can see is the ‘other’ list, I’m thinking that we may as well
be OK with it. We are not being derailed; rather we’re probably being
redirected. My 2015 Life Lesson has been that it is a matter of surrender.
“Detachment creates room for creation”.
By letting go of our own ideas of what we are to do, then what needs to
happen, happens. What needs to go, goes.
What needs to stay, stays.
With that said, this blog needs to
go. As did my website. My recorded
classes are now archived away as well. Others are fortunately proclaiming the
message(s) that Ronnie and I have been promulgating for over 10 years. And they’re doing that much more effectively
than we could ever hope to.
I am not sure what is to happen, but I
know that I am staying. By that, I mean,
I am still here… just surrendering and not in control. So who knows what that will look like in
2016! If you desire to follow this
interesting ride and see where the road leads, then my New-trition by Carla Facebook page is where you can find and
contact me. I’d love to hear from you!
