3/1: 7th Building Block: “MOVEMENT” - Did you know that a hot bath for 20 minutes is equal cardiovascular-wise to an hour's workout at the gym? And without the lactic acid production in your muscles! Learn the difference between movement and strenuous exercise in this class and the potential harm of endurance exercise.
3/8: Q&A: mini-topic – “SUGAR” – Find out why we say sugar is not your enemy. In fact, glucose is critical to metabolism and healthy liver function.
3/15: Basic Why & How: “GELATIN” - Why take gelatin? You will be surprised to discover gelatin is extremely beneficial for much more than hair and fingernails. You will learn about protein and amino acids and the importance of BALANCE once again. We will discuss the myth of protein shakes, especially whey protein, and the biological stress of eating muscle meats alone. Be informed about protein in order to provide your body with the most vital nutrient to rebuild and repair tissue.
3/22: Q&A: mini-topic – “CAFFEINE” – Another very misrepresented and misunderstood nutrient! Learn how your favorite "bad habit" is actually beneficial!
3/29: Fifth Tuesday: “LOVE YOUR LIVER!” – Come and learn why you can only be as healthy as your liver is healthy. This phenomenal organ is truly your best biologic and metabolic friend! A perfect topic to follow this month’s discussion on sugar.
Remember the 1st and 5th Tuesday classes are $10 and the others are $5 per person. Come to class and earn your “Frequent Learner” stars. You receive a star for every class attended; 10 stars = a free class redeemable at Q&A and Basic Why & How classes.
We have added a new appointment service to our program. This will be an INTRODUCTORY APPOINTMENT for potential clients interested in natural health and who need more information about our program before an initial assessment. We have found the orientation phase of our client/practitioner relationship is critical to the success of our program. We desire to establish a strong foundation with clients to ensure their success. This appointment will be optional and will stress the educational expectations and lifestyle changes necessary to achieve optimal health. It will be a one hour appointment with either Ronnie or Carla and the fee will be $50. The Contract of Authorization must be completed as well as Health History, Food Diary, Temperature/pulse record which will all be reviewed and discussed in depth. The client will then be educated on and prepared for their first initial assessment appointment.
Thanks everyone for surviving the winter with us… Spring is around the corner! We look forward to seeing you in classes this month! Bring a friend!
